Who We Are

Hi, I’m Matt – thanks for checking out Rental Review Source!

For the better part of a decade, I worked in the multifamily property management industry, helping to lease and manage some of the newest ultra-luxe apartment communities that the Twin Cities rental market had to offer.

Over the years, companies like Apartments.com, Zillow, Trulia, and others emerged, inundating prospective renters with an avalanche of data: live up-to-the-minute pricing and availability, interactive floorplans, school rankings, walk scores, local transit ratings, and so much more, all with the goal of getting you to pay a deposit and apply at one of the communities advertised on their website as quickly as humanly possible.

Now don’t get me wrong – all of this information is well-intentioned and often helpful to have.  But the sheer volume of these data-driven metrics can often be overwhelming, especially if you are just starting your search for a new apartment, and doubly so if you are relocating to a new neighborhood, city, or state altogether.
